Support

Help with connecting hardware, reading your statistics, building a node, and reporting problems. Support is scoped to what the service actually does; the list of what it cannot do is short and final.

response
Best effort, usually within two business days (US Eastern). Pre-launch, replies may be slower; the pool is not yet operating and most questions are answered by the guides Articles.

There is no live chat, no phone line, and no support account. Nobody from Spearmint Mining will contact you first on any messaging platform.

02 What support can help with

  • Connection problems — Stratum endpoint, TLS, firmware that will not connect. Include your miner model and firmware version and the exact error.
  • Worker configuration — username format, worker names, several machines on one address.
  • Share and payout questions — include the payout address, the block height concerned, and what you expected. Support can explain the calculation and check the pool's records against the chain; it cannot change either.
  • Node build and sync issues — platform, compiler output, and debug.log excerpts help.
  • Reporting a discrepancy between the pool's figures, this site, and your own node. These are treated as bugs and recorded in the build log.

Security reports

Send vulnerability reports to [email protected] before publishing anything. Include steps to reproduce and, for consensus issues, the block or transaction that demonstrates it. Reports are acknowledged within two business days, worked in private until a fix is released, and credited in the release notes unless you ask otherwise. Testing that involves attacking live infrastructure or other miners' hardware is not authorised; a local testnet is.

03 What support cannot do

Outside the service — no exceptions
  • Recover keys or addresses. The pool never has your private key or recovery phrase and cannot reconstruct either.
  • Reverse or redirect a payout. Rewards go to the address the shares were mined under. Once a transaction is on the chain it is the chain's; before that, there is no feature that points rewards elsewhere.
  • Convert, buy, or sell SPMTC, or tell you where to. The service has no exchange function and does not recommend one.
  • Give price, investment, tax, or legal guidance. Nothing on this site is advice of any of those kinds.
  • Hold anything for you. There is no account to top up, freeze, or empty, because there is no account.
Permanent warning Spearmint Mining will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase. Any message that does — email, chat, social media, a form on a site that looks like this one — is not from us. Do not reply to it; forward it to [email protected].
